Africa’s premier eLearning event, eLearning Africa 2011 – the 6th International Conference on ICT for Development, Education and Training will be held between May 25 – 27, 2011 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, at the Mlimani City Conference Centre.

eLearning Africa is the key networking hub and target destination of Africa’s educational decision-makers, opinion leaders, experts and practitioners from public and private education, the corporate training sector, governments and public administration. The event is also attended by education, ICT and finance ministers from over 10 African nations, as well as high level decision-makers from governmental and intergovernmental organisations.

The numbers speak for themselves:

114% growth in attendance in a mere 5 years
1778 participants attended the 5th edition of the conference in Lusaka, Zambia
A true African event with more than 85% of the participants from Africa, and 78 countries represented
All sectors under one roof to ensure the take up of ICT in education and training in all areas: education (42%), government and public sector (24%), corporate (26%), and associations/NGOs (8%)
A high level conference programme featuring the work of nearly 350 speakers and chairpersons from 50 countries
