Flying through the Rockie Mountains at 10,500 feet near the Yellowhead Pass
After a three week break, during which I flew my small plane across Canada from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean and back again – an amazing experience the blogs of which can be found at http://flight.tonybates.ca – I am now back to collecting information and posting blogs about e-learning.
I have managed to store most of the news that broke over the summer, and will be drawing on this as well as new stuff that breaks over the next few weeks.
In particular, I am resuming my series of blogs on the topic of ‘Is e-learning failing higher education‘. If you missed it, the last blog on this topic was: ‘E-learning and 21st century skills and competences.’ Others were ‘Does e-learning really enhance the quality of learning?‘, ‘Has e-learning increased access to learning opportunities?‘, and ‘Expectations and goals for e-learning’. The next one will be on meeting the needs of millennial students, due next week.
So watch this space – and as always, your comments and contributions are always welcome.
